My why
When I first started my business, I was at a point in life where my creativity felt stifled. After years in corporate sales and customer service, I found myself yearning to create.
One day, I found my now husband’s forgotten watercolor supplies and set up a small station at home. I painted every free moment I had and what started as personal therapy and creative outlet quickly became something bigger.
The moment I painted live at a wedding and saw couples and their guests react with joy, laughter, and even happy tears, I knew this was my calling.

I have painted over 1000 people over the last 5 years!
Obsessed with honeycrisp apples with peanut butter & walnuts.
When I'm not in the studio painting, I love spending time outdoors, gardening, and going on walks with my husband Dustin, and our two dogs, Bryce & Pepper.
Bonus Fact:
ClexO comes from ‘Cleo,’ my college nickname (inspired by my astrology obsession), & ‘xo’ (a nod to my Gossip Girl era).
it was 2012 when i made my instagram handle, just so happened it became my business name.
